Proven technology, expert precision, and a smile that lasts without the wires.
Invisalign® aligners are made from SmartTrack® material – an FDA-approved thermoplastic clinically proven to improve fit and deliver more predictable tooth movement. The result is a treatment experience that’s more comfortable, consistent, and controlled.
Your journey begins with a 3D digital scan, no messy impressions. Dr. Wigal or Dr. Kluemper then maps out your complete treatment plan, so you can see your projected final result before a single aligner is made. Each set is worn for one to two weeks, with every step guided by board-certified specialist oversight.
Invisalign® does more than improve the look of your smile, it supports your long-term oral health, bite function, and daily confidence. Here’s why Columbus patients are choosing clear aligner therapy over traditional braces.
Virtually invisible and custom-fit to your teeth, Invisalign® aligners let you go through treatment without disrupting how you look or feel. Our specialists plan every case with facial balance in mind, so your final result complements your natural proportions, not just your bite.
Misaligned bites cause more than cosmetic concerns, they lead to uneven wear, jaw strain, and difficulty cleaning between teeth. Invisalign® corrects these issues gently and precisely, with SmartTrack® material that fits snugly without sharp edges or wires.
A properly aligned smile is easier to maintain, more resistant to wear, and more structurally sound over time. Our specialists ensure you finish treatment with results built to last—supported by a customized retainer plan that protects your investment for life.
Columbus patients have options—but Wigal & Kluemper offers something most providers can’t: two board-certified orthodontic specialists, advanced digital technology, and a genuine commitment to making care accessible for every family.

New to Invisalign® or still weighing your options? Here are answers to the questions our Columbus-area patients ask most. If something isn’t covered below, we’re happy to address it personally at your free consultation.
Because no two mouths are created equal, neither are any two costs of Invisalign®. The total cost of your treatment could be influenced by several factors, such as your dedication to wearing your aligners, your age, and the severity of your dental misalignment. Additionally, you might qualify for at least partial coverage from your insurance carrier since straight teeth are more beneficial for your oral health. No matter the cost of your treatment, rest assured that having a straight smile is well worth the price.
Many people associate braces with spending lots of time at their orthodontist’s office getting them adjusted. Fortunately, this is not the case with Invisalign®. Although you’ll still need to visit your orthodontist every 4-6 weeks, you’ll spend less time overall in the dental chair than you would with braces. These appointments are much quicker. Generally, all we’ll have to do is briefly evaluate your progress and provide you with your next few sets of aligners before sending you on your way.
When you first insert your trays, it’s perfectly normal for your teeth to feel a little sore or sensitive. However, this is a sign that the treatment is working. Invisalign® functions by exerting gentle pressure on your teeth to gradually shift them into the desired position.
To alleviate this discomfort, it may help to switch to a new set of aligners right before bed. That way you’ll sleep through the first several hours of the adjustment process. When you wake up, your teeth should feel almost used to the new trays.
Keeping your aligners clean is essential in preventing them from staining and becoming noticeable. Every time you remove your aligners to eat, drink, or perform oral hygiene, rinse them out with cool or lukewarm (never hot) water. Then, use a soft-bristled toothbrush (without toothpaste) and a clear hand soap to gently scrub your trays clean. Doing so will prevent food particles and plaque from accumulating in your aligners.
